This was in interesting video with important safety information. Because I am interested in the value of used helmets I did a bit more reading and found the articles below to be informative (my brief conclusions after this little bit of research in brackets). One reason that I did a little more reading is because I have been hesitant to provide and encourage the use of second hand helmets at the bike repair sessions at Our Place. In the future, I will not be so hesitant since I conclude that wearing an old helmet is safe and dramatically better than riding without a helmet.
